Welcome to SignalPage

What SignalPage is, how your site gets set up, and where to go next.

On this page

SignalPage is a managed website platform for creators, local businesses and the marketers who work with them. You build and edit your site from one admin panel: pages, a blog, an events calendar, a portfolio, forms and a help center. We run the hosting, HTTPS, nightly backups and updates, so there are no plugins to keep patched.

Tracking is set up properly from the start. Every page and form already sends clean events to Google Tag Manager, and every plan, Free included, comes with Insights: counts of visits and enquiries, and where they came from, with no cookies.

How your site gets set up

  1. Sign up. The Free plan needs an email address and a name for your site. No card.
  2. Finish setup. We email you a link to a short setup wizard, where you create your admin login and tell us a little about your business so we can build your first homepage. The link is yours alone, so don't forward it.
  3. Your site is live at yourname.signalpagecms.com, with HTTPS already working. On a paid plan you can connect your own domain whenever you like. See Your web address and custom domains.

Logging in

Your admin panel is at /admin/ on your site's address, for example yourname.signalpagecms.com/admin/. You can also open it from your customer portal with Open website admin, without logging in a second time. The portal is where your plan, billing and custom domains live.

What's included

  • Page builder: build your homepage and other pages visually, section by section.
  • Themes: five design styles and a full color palette, so the site looks like yours rather than like a template.
  • Blog: posts, categories and scheduled publishing.
  • Documentation: an optional help center at /support/docs/, separate from your blog.
  • Gigs: an events calendar built for shows, performances and appearances.
  • Projects: a portfolio for showing your work.
  • Forms: a contact form plus a form builder for anything custom, with spam protection and conversion tracking.
  • Insights: visits, enquiries and their sources, without cookies.
  • A/B testing: run two versions of a page against each other and keep the one that converts.

Turn off what you don't need

Gigs, Projects, Blog and Documentation are modules, and each one can be switched off under Settings → Modules. A disabled module disappears from your admin sidebar and its public pages return a 404, so a site that isn't about live shows never has to mention them. Documentation is the one module that starts switched off, so turn it on when you want it.
