Everything visual lives under Settings → Theme. You don't need to touch CSS to change how the site looks.
Design styles
A design style sets a coordinated starting point — palette, fonts, corner radius, how the navigation bar sits. Five are available:
- Dark Studio — bold dark aesthetic, suited to creative portfolios, music and tech.
- Clean Light — bright and uncluttered.
- Bold Editorial — large type and strong contrast, magazine-like.
- Instrument — restrained and typographic.
- Professional — quiet and businesslike.
Picking a style sets the colours and fonts for you. Everything it sets is still yours to override afterwards.
Colours
Eleven colours are adjustable independently: page background, alternate background, card background, navbar background, body text, muted text, headings, accent, accent hover, navbar text, and borders. Leave one blank and it's derived from your background colour automatically.
The accent colour is the one that does the most work — buttons, links and highlights all come from it.
Fonts
Six heading fonts and six body fonts are available, chosen separately. Headings and body text don't have to match.
Custom CSS
For anything the settings don't cover, Settings → Theme includes a site-wide custom CSS box. Individual pages can also carry their own CSS, in the page's settings within the builder.
A note on contrast
If you set colours by hand, keep an eye on readability — light grey text on a white background is hard to read for a lot of people. Sticking near a design style's own palette is the safe route.
