Page Templates & the Gallery

Starting from a ready-made layout, and saving your own.

A template is a saved page layout — all the sections, columns and elements, without the page it came from. Templates let you start a new page from something that already looks finished rather than from an empty screen.

The bundled gallery

Your site ships with a library of ready-made layouts: complete pages for particular kinds of business (local trades, hospitality, musicians and bands, comedians, photographers, freelancers and consultants), focused landing pages aimed at a single action, and smaller building blocks like a hero with a call to action, an about split, an FAQ section and contact details.

Open a page in the builder and use Load Template in the toolbar to browse them, with a live preview of each before you commit.

Saving your own

Built something you'll want again? Save Template stores the current page's layout under a name and description of your choosing, and it then appears alongside the bundled ones. Handy for a repeatable landing page, or as a known-good starting point you can reset a page back to.

Loading replaces the layout

Loading a template replaces what's currently on the page, so save your work first if you're experimenting. It doesn't touch the page's title, slug or SEO fields — only the layout.
