Posts can belong to a category, managed under Blog → Categories. Categories can be nested (a category inside another category), which shows up as a tree in the public blog sidebar.
The Docs template
Every post can use one of two layouts, chosen when you edit it:
- Default — the standard blog post layout, with a large featured image.
- Docs — a documentation-style layout with a category sidebar, breadcrumbs, and previous/next navigation between posts in reading order. This is exactly the layout you're reading right now.
The Docs template is a good fit for any structured, reference-style content — help articles, guides, changelogs — where readers benefit from browsing a category tree rather than a chronological feed.
